I’m Jacqueline Berrios, a bilingual, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), certified
wellness coach, mother of two toddler boys, and a proud first-generation Latina living in
the beautiful Hi-Desert of California.
I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and bring both professional expertise and lived experience to the work I do. I understand how complex and transformative the journey into motherhood can be—especially when you’re navigating cultural identity, breaking cycles, and striving to feel like yourself again.
I’m deeply passionate about holding space for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ birthing people to grow, heal, and thrive. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in creating a safe, empowering environment where you feel truly seen and supported.
Motherhood can be overwhelming—but you don’t have to walk it alone. I’m here to walk with you.
Since 2013, I have provided bilingual therapy and mental health services to adults and
families in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a focus on serving BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
After becoming licensed, I joined the Collaborative Care pilot program at the University of
California, San Francisco (UCSF), offering therapy in primary care settings. In 2020, this work e
xpanded to include Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatal Specialties at Mission Bay.
During this time, I specialized in perinatal mental health. My work included treating depression,
anxiety, traumatic births, and pregnancy loss, as well as supporting mothers with infants in the NICU. I trained with the creator of the Mothers and Babies program and co-facilitated groups for pregnant patients at UCSF.
In 2022, I transitioned to Headspace, where I was exclusively remote and continued supporting
mom's, LGBTQ+, BIPOC and a broader client base. I incorporated meditation, and mindfulness
into my practice. In 2024, I completed a certification course in Wellness Coaching through
Headspace Health.
Currently, I have returned to a medical setting, providing therapy to a diverse adult
population as part of a Collaborative Care program.
